A Reverse Cycle Ducted Air Conditioning System provides the ultimate air conditioned comfort throughout your entire home. The ducted system can be installed in a new home or tailored to suit an existing one, and once installed only the controller, the return air grill and discharge vents are visible inside your home.
A ducted split system is in two main parts, an evaporator “indoor unit” which can be in the roof space for a ducted system and the condenser “outdoor unit” which needs really good ventilation around it and is usually positioned against an outside wall of the home. The outside unit makes some noise so it does need to be installed in a position so as to comply with any regulations and not to annoy any neighbours. Systems are available in Digital Scroll, inverter and fixed speed systems. Digital Scroll/Inverters have a variable output which is ideal for cooling and being zoned. Fixed speed units are a great choice for both cooling and also where heating is a priority. Models are available in both single and three phase.
Split ducted systems are designed to give cooling and heating with the least inside noise of any air conditioning option and provide the most (even) air distribution from a system of a given size. A ducted system will often provide comfort to more than one area at a time. In most houses it is cheaper to install ducted air conditioning than to install wall hung split systems in every room. Adding ducted air conditioning also adds to the overall sale value of your home.
